Statement of Faith
The author believes the following:
- There is one God, eternally existing as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
- The Bible is the inspired and only infallible authoritative Word of God.
- The Lord
Jesus Christ was born to a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed
miracles, was crucified and resurrected, and ascended to the right hand
of God the Father. He will return one day in power and glory.
- Man was
created in the image of God but was tempted by Satan and fell. The
resulting sinfulness of man is such that regeneration by the Holy
Spirit is necessary for salvation. This means that each of us
must sincerely repent of personal sin and embrace God's gift of new
life in Jesus.
- The Holy Spirit indwells a
Christian, helping him to live a more Godly life so that the church may
carry out Christ's Great Commission.
- At judgement day, both the saved and
the lost will be resurrected, the saved to a resurrected life in heaven
and the lost to permanent doom.
